We went to the Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara with Salam. He made the trip special by sharing all his knowledge. Not only about the pyramids but about tipping, what to expect and what not to do. He also went with us to Alexandria, Khan El Khalili and the Egyptian Museum. Everything was smoothly planned out. Two thumbs up for him. He speaks Mandarin too! (Wow!) We were very well taken care during the entire trip.  Salam has been very professional and knowledgeable. He would volunteered information about the place, people and the country which made the trip all the more enjoyable, and he took pride in taking photos so that we could have good memorable moments always. My wife and I customized a 10 day itinerary in Egypt. Salam was our guide in Cairo and Alexandria. We wanted not only to see the ancient ruins, but to travel safely and experience the rich culture of Egypt. Salam did a wonderful job helping us to meet all of these goals. Our travels were rich with humor, discussions of ancient civilizations or modern culture, and traditional Egyptian food! We hope to visit Egypt and Salam in the future with our kids to see some of the sites he recommended that we could not fit into our itinerary. Salam, our tour guide in Cairo, was extremely accommodating to our needs, and flexible to our last minute changes in plan. Above all, he is very knowledgeable and has a very good understanding of Egyptian history and archeology. He took great care of us and we felt very comfortable around him.
